Hi, I’m Mikayla Engelke, a product designer who finds joy in making things make sense.

Most of my work has been in quick-service restaurants, designing mobile ordering and loyalty experiences where speed, clarity, and ease are everything. I love the challenge of simplifying complexity, whether that’s untangling a checkout flow or bringing structure to a messy content system.
 

I work best in close collaboration with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders. I ask questions, spot patterns, and bring a calm presence to fast-moving teams.
 

Outside of design, I co-run a boutique called The Dearest Collective, where I channel my love for nostalgia and thoughtful storytelling. You can usually find me exploring estate sales, planning our next trip abroad, or enjoying quiet weekends with my husband and our two dogs, Penny and Molly.
